founded and manages Rose Alley Press. He earned B.A. degrees in philosophy and English from the University of Washington and an M.A. in English from Vanderbilt University. His work has appeared in numerous journals, including The Lyric, Candelabrum, Exterminating Angel, Terrain.org, The Raven Chronicles, and The Sporting News. His other poetry collections from Rose Alley include Cathedral and Highrise, Slow Clouds over Rush Hour, and Stars Beyond the Battlesmoke. He also edited the three Rose Alley anthologies: Limbs of the Pine, Peaks of the Range; Many Trails to the Summit; and Footbridge Above the Falls, and he co-edited Alive at the Center, a poetry anthology from Portland State University's Ooligan Press. He is currently editing a cat poetry anthology for MoonPath Press.
